We are so pleased to announce that our very own, fabulous Vital Glow Yoga is generously offering a FREE community yoga class in the park every week at 4:30 during the farmers market! Always wanted to try yoga, but were never sure where to start? Beginners and experienced yogis alike can enjoy the mind and body benefits of yoga, combined with the fresh air and green space of Bayne Park. Come, practice your asanas, then shop the market for a delicious, fresh, healthy dinner! We recommend bringing a yoga mat (or towel), and a bottle of water.
“Vital Glow Yoga is a non-heated Vinyasa studio located at 8 S Fremont Ave right here in Bellevue. We specialize in using linked breath and movement to foster focus and peace in the mind and body. We believe in making yoga accessible to all needs and bodies; and therefore offer a wide variety of classes. For students focused primarily on stretching and relaxation, we recommend Gentle Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and YinYang Flow. For those craving more of a workout, we offer Vinyasa Flow (all levels) and Intermediate/Advanced Vinyasa Flow (yoga experience required). For our absolute beginners we offer Foundations of Vinyasa Yoga, which – while not required to attend other classes – is highly recommended for those brand new to yoga. We offer thirty days of unlimited yoga for $30 to our new students to really give an opportunity to try all our classes and teachers and discover what resonates. Additionally, we are so excited to bring free all-levels yoga to the Bellevue Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm! Can’t wait to see you there!”

Meeraj started taking yoga for a physical practice during her junior year of high school. She likes to say yoga found her for the much-needed mental practice during her first year of college. After seeing an improvement in her overall health she knew she wanted to pass this beautiful gift on to others. After graduating college Meeraj began the journey to getting her 200-hour YTT certification, which she received in March of 2016. At the time she was a nanny and started practicing with the kids she watched over. It was then that she realized kids needed yoga just as much as adults, and she decided to focus part of her training on children’s yoga. She holds a Childlight Yoga Teacher certification as of June 2016. Meeraj is also working towards getting her 300HR YTT this summer! In her classes you can expect mindful movement with a focus on breath work, meditation, and of course asana. Classes often include hands on and music is playing!
When Meeraj isn’t practicing yoga you can find her cuddled with her cat, offering Reiki, or enjoying the company of her friends & family!
